THERAPY OFFICE
I assisted a client in choosing art pieces to complement their therapy office space. The warm tones of the first piece are welcomed by the analogous wood tones of the room, and the curvilinear shapes and shadows may prompt a curious sense of introspection from the viewer. Additionally, the cool blue of the second piece adds a nice contrast to balance the warm tones. These pieces' neutral tones and abstract nature fit the office setting nicely.
I created these art pieces for my first gallery exhibition in December 2023. Check out more information about this piece in the context of my Thesis Exhibition here:
MEDITATION ROOM
This piece is also a part of my 2023 gallery exhibition. The warm wood tones and fresh redwood trees outside the room harmonize with the earthy green and blue tones of this complex paper piece. It is mounted between two pieces of plexiglass and appears to be floating. I chose this piece for this room because the client wanted a non-pictorial wall piece to cultivate a sense of self-discovery, where each person has their own interpretation of the work.
